Meet Zawadi (aka Wanda)
Wanda Collins is the founder and CEO of The Reset and Go Network, which is comprised of Reset and Go Girl!™, Reset and Go Church!™, and the Reset and Go Girl Academy™. She has been happily married to her husband Michael for 23 years and is the mother of two wonderful adult sons. Wanda first came into the online ministry space in 2008 when she and Michael founded an online marriage ministry called Christian Marriage Today. For a decade, Wanda spearheaded their online marriage ministry, authored numerous books on marriage, facilitated marriage retreats and workshops with her husband, and provided counseling services for married and engaged couples.
Wanda gave her life to Christ at a very young age and began to discover her prophetic gift at the tender age of six or seven, when God began giving her dreams and insight about future events. At the age of thirteen, Wanda first felt the call of God into a life of ministry. Around that same time, she developed a heart for the lost and demonstrated an aptitude for leadership. While other teens were making plans to go to the mall on the weekend, Wanda would rally friends and try to convince them to go with her to distribute Salvation tracts at local shopping centers.
That's been more than forty years ago. Since that time, Wanda has served the church in a variety of ministry roles over the years such as children's ministry worker, praise and worship team member, new members orientation trainer, new believers leader, marriage mentor, professional pastoral counselor, church plant team leader, member care trainer, prayer minister, single's ministry pastor, and executive assistant to a global senior pastor. Wanda loves God and she loves serving His people in whatever role He assigns her.
In 2019, Wanda was led to go on a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya where God unveiled a new calling. During her time there, Wanda felt a strong prophetic pull in her spirit as if the nation of Kenya was pulling her. The feeling was so intense that she began repeatedly asking God, under her breath, "God, is Kenya calling me?, God, is Kenya calling me?" Not even sure of what she was asking or how God would respond, the answer came miraculously. One Monday evening after leaving a prayer service, she returned to the bus and noticed she had a missed call on her cell phone. The caller ID said the call was from "Kenya!!" She knew immediately that this was God answering her question, "Is Kenya calling me?" The answer was a resounding, yes! God confirmed it two more times when, unprompted, over two days, two different Kenyan church leaders approached her and bestowed her with a Swahili name. The first leader gave her the name Wakesho, which when translated means "future." The following day, another leader, totally unaware of the first name that was previously given, gave her the name Zawadi, which when translated means 'gift'. God was saying Wanda was a "future gift" to Kenya. Wanda now prefers to be called by her God given name, Zawadi.
In her spare time, Zawadi enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, and good food. She is a passionate speaker, teacher, counselor, and heart healing practictioner. She has a Masters degree in Human Services specializing in Marriage & Family, she is a licensed minister, a licensed real estate agent, a certified financial coach, and an author. Above all, the thing that she treasures most, is the fact that she is a Spirit-filled Daughter of the King! Her hearts desire is to be all that God is calling her to be, and to leave this earth having done all that He has called her to do.
The "Reset" Story
In 2020, during the Covid pandemic, the Lord began planting the seeds for the Reset and Go Network. After churches across the nation closed their doors, the Holy Spirit impressed upon Zawadi that the closing of church doors was symbolic of the ending of one era and the start of a new and that that was a pivotal time for churches to reset; however, most churches did not. Most went back to "business as usual." Here is Zawadi's definition of reset:
reset:
To reposition and start again after a period of rest, reflection, revelation, repentance, heart-healing, and re-equipping, in order to fully accomplish your divinely designed purpose.
In 2021, Zawadi, and her husband Michael took a sabbatical to rest and seek the Lord for His direction. She didn't realize it then, but this was the beginning of her own personal "reset". In 2022, God completely uprooted them. They sold their home and moved further north to Canton, GA where they enjoyed mountain views. In 2023, about six months after moving, Zawdi began praying and asking God what her next assignment would be. She felt ready to jump back into ministry but at the same time, she felt "stuck" and knew that she needed to be ministered to. While in prayer one morning, God led her to attend a spirit-filled retreat hosted by her dear friends Alison and Chuck Lusted, of Cross Pointe Ministries, where she had an encounter with the Holy Spirit that changed her life. At that retreat, Zawadi received multiple prophetic words from God that not only spoke life-giving encouragement but also gave her instructions. One instruction was to rally God's Daughters. Not long after that encounter, the Holy Spirit began to download pieces of the Reset and Go Network to her. He gave her a new piece of His vision every morning before she got out of bed for about one week until the blueprint was complete. When she stepped back and looked at the vision, Zawadi was both amazed and intimidated. What God had planned was no small feat! This assignment was unlike anything God had ever asked her to do. It is the assignment of her life and was officially launched in February of 2024.
